Musicals, beds and plants⁣

That’s what our past few days have been filled with. ⁣
⁣
My eldest starred as Daddy Warbucks in the play Annie. The family went along to see him and he was magnificent. He’s spent the last two moths at home singing at the top of his voice just to prepare for his role. It paid off as he didn’t miss a note! ⁣
⁣
⁣
We’re building a bed from scratch for Alexandra at the moment so the house turned into a bit of a building site for a while but we coped. ⁣
The photo above is a model of what the bed will look like. It’s the bottom right bedpost with the bed slats in the middle. 😁 ⁣

I’ve been using every excuse under the sun not to go out and tidy up the garden and get it ready for the winter. I plucked up the courage though and even managed to plant a few bulbs. Here’s hoping that they flower next year! 🙏🏽 ⁣

I was in Alexandra’s bedroom yesterday afternoon. I was humming and folding her clothes away when I heard her little footsteps coming up the stairs. ⁣

She stopped on the landing and looked across at me, a look of surprise on her face.⁣
⁣
‘Mummy!’ She says entering her room. I look down at her furrowed eyebrows and pursed lips. ‘This is my room! You have your room. Go to your room!’ ⁣

I was so taken aback that I started laughing.⁣

#AD What moisturiser do you use on your child’s skin? ⁣

Alex has very dry skin and if not moisturised properly, can lead to her scratching to the point of breaking her skin. ⁣
⁣
She’s been using @naturallyperfectuk since March and her skin has never been better. ⁣
⁣
I no longer need to moisturise her twice a day like I used to and the butter melts into her skin straight away. ⁣
