What is it?

the Afro Hair and Beauty Live show is an annual event held in London and it celebrates black culture, fashion, beauty and hair. This year it was held at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London. I was already in the city so took advantage and headed to see what has happening.
What is there to see and do?
Afro Caribbean dolls Childrens’ books on sale Jewellery available
This year there were lots of stands selling clothing and accessories, some with an African take on it, for example, the textiles or patterns used that you’d find on instagram pages like Grassfields.
There were also toys, books and bags available for purchase for your little ones. I bought a little doll called Ayana for my daughter and she loves her as it looks just like her!
Seminars
Marketing Seminar Mielle Organics on stage A trichologist giving tips
The seminars were some of my favourite things to see and take part in. Lots of information was shared on various topics such as caring for your hair and caring your little ones too!
There was even a seminar on social media and marketing where I gained lots of valuable in how to schedule posts and engagement rates.
Hair products available

There was everything you could think of for Afro Caribbean hair; Products from ‘As I Am‘ to Pantene and Palmers.

Even men got in on the act and hair taken care of at the event. the Gentleman in the photo was having a haircut done by ‘S curl‘ barbers.

Yes, Yes and yes! The event was an opportunity to see and heard things I may not have come across and on top of that, It’s good to see an event that resonates with me doing well.

Looks like a really good event, I will have to put the next one in my diary x
