“Great things never came from comfort zones.”
With so much conversation surrounding motherhood, there’s one piece of the puzzle that’s often overlooked. You know what I’m talking about. That sneaky lull that creeps up on a woman once she becomes a mum. That period after giving birth when she settles into motherhood a little bit too easily, then one day, remembers the woman she once was.
And yes, she still likes getting dolled up for a night out, hitting the makeup shelves when shopping, and feeling confident, but with a little one hanging on her hip, she feels guilty for wanting to revisit her old self. It’s an awkward period, the crossroads between who you were and who you’re becoming (think adult puberty if there were such a thing).
This blog is for that woman. The woman who thought she had it all figured out, but a little surprise now has her questioning everything. This blog is for the woman who adores motherhood, but is struggling to feel connected to her old self. The woman who wants to prioritize herself without feeling guilty. She’s allowed to right? Of course!
If you’re reading this thinking “someone who finally gets it,” this blog is dedicated to you. The woman who wants to rediscover her old fashion and beauty styles, the foodie that’s hungry for new places to eat at and the mother who’s looking for a safe space to discuss motherhood.

What I love besides the above

“I’m travelling so light my feet ain’t touching the ground”
‘”You can always find tester pots on eBay at a much lower price…”
“boho pieces complement any outfit and make me think of a floaty dress being twirled…”
